Pricing policy
The pricing structure of the Baltic-American Therapy and Surgery Clinic consists of base (standard) pricing, which comprises the Clinic’s schedule of commercial service fees, and a system of exemptions from the scheduled and approved base pricing.
The Clinic’s schedule of commercial service fees, which constitutes the Clinic’s base pricing, applies in all instances to the individual (patient), unless the individual (patient) is subject to one or more of the grounds (cases) specified in the system of exemptions.
Exemptions from the Clinic’s schedule of commercial service fees, where a Clinic service price list (or lists) established on the basis of separate agreements applies, are as follows (general categories of persons):
- where the individual holds private health insurance in accordance with an agreement concluded between the Clinic and the insurance company;
- where the individual is covered by state health insurance under an agreement concluded between the Clinic and the Territorial Health Insurance Fund (TLK), the social and public interest purpose of which is to ensure the accessibility of healthcare services for individuals;
- where the individual opts for the Clinic’s enhanced services and agrees to pay the price difference between the Clinic’s enhanced service package and the Base service package.
- where an agreement has been concluded between the Clinic and a third party regarding the payment or reimbursement of services on behalf of the individual;
- where the individual is an uninsured resident of an EU member state;
- where the individual is an uninsured resident of a non-EU member state;
- where another discount scheme or eligibility criterion applies;
- where the individual (patient) requires emergency medical treatment.
A specific Clinic service price list shall apply to a particular patient, provided they meet the criteria and eligibility grounds set out in the pricing policy, the agreement, and the price list itself.

- The fees for services provided at the Clinic are subject to change at any time without prior notice;
- The patient’s medical condition may necessitate additional services or treatment beyond those initially specified, such as extra time with the consultant, specialist, or other conditions than anticipated.
