Patient guide
This Visitors Guide seeks to answer questions that are commonly asked by our patients and visitors. It provides details on the admission of patients and how to get ready, visiting policy, discharge procedure and what not to forget when picking up a discharged patient.
Before the admission
Simply complete the documentation for admission and we will confirm your admission on the spot. The reception staff will be with you to answer any queries about filling the admission form.
Admission
Our reception for the admission operates around the clock. Responsible employee will contact you the day before the planned admission and let you know at what time you should arrive. Planned admission is from 8am till 5 pm daily.
What should you bring for Your registration
The checklist of what you should need to bring during the pre-admission registration:
- Doctor’s referral letter
- Identity card or passport
- Test(s) results and X-rays, if any
- A list of all medications and the dosage which you take
- Any additional medical documentation.
What should You bring for Your stay
If you will be staying with us for a while, you might want to bring along the following to make your stay a little more comfortable:
Toiletries
Anything else which will make you feel more comfortable
Discharge procedure
The standard check-out time is according to the doctor’s recommendation.
Your hospitalization bill will be ready at your discharge. Payment shall be made at the reception at the hospital lobby. Please note that your bill should be fully settled by the time of discharge so we kindly remind you to check your finances before or during your stay. An invoice (in English or Lithuanian) will be printed out upon your request. In case you need your medical extracts in English or Russian, please let the administrator know of such request. We will prepare such extracts for you in four working days.
Wireless Internet
Free wireless Internet service is available throughout the hospital and in all patient rooms. The wireless network is for use by the hospital’s guests and visitors.
There is no registration and no configuration of the network. It’s that simple.
Visitor Code of Conduct
Please help us maintain a healing environment for our patients and mind the visiting hours and policy at the Clinic. We ask that you comply with the following visitor rules:
- Do not visit if you are sick, (fever, cough, sore throat, nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea) or have been exposed to chicken pox or other contagious illnesses within the past three weeks.
- Clean your hands each time you enter and leave the patient’s room.
- Do not touch patient equipment, patient wounds, or bandages while visiting.
- You must wear shoes and shirts at all times. Clothing must be clean and neat.
- Visitors are limited to two per patient.
- Children must have adult supervision at all times and must be respectful of the hospital’s healing environment. Some units prohibit children from visiting.
If you believe someone is violating these rules, or you need assistance, please notify the administrator.
Visiting hours
Visitors play an important role in the healing process for our patients.
Visiting hours at the clinic are from 9 am till 9 pm if it doesn’t prevent doctors’ work.
Flu precautions are now in effect. Please read the important visitor guidelines for flu season.
If You are Sick
If you have any of the following flu-like symptoms, it is very important that you do not visit patients:
- cough
- sore throat
- body aches
- headache
- fever or chills
