Gynaecology services
Gynaecologist consultation
A comprehensive consultation with a gynaecologist, covering female reproductive health assessment, symptom analysis, and the creation of an individualised treatment plan. During the consultation, a gynaecological ultrasound scan may be performed to promptly assess the state of the reproductive organs.
Gynaecological ultrasound scan
An accurate, non-invasive scan allowing the assessment of the condition of the uterus (womb), ovaries, and other female reproductive organs, to diagnose various gynaecological conditions and monitor the effectiveness of treatment.
Antenatal care and monitoring
Obstetric ultrasound scan
A specialised scan designed to monitor fetal development, assess fetal health, and detect potential abnormalities early. The scan is performed during all trimesters of pregnancy.
Fetal heart rate monitoring
A specialised procedure that monitors the fetal heart rate, assessing the baby’s well-being and response to changes in the mother’s body. Monitoring is particularly important in the later stages of pregnancy.
Fetal heart ultrasound scan
A detailed assessment of the structure and function of the fetal heart, helping to detect potential heart defects early and plan appropriate postnatal treatment.
Maternity services
At the Baltic American Clinic, we foster a safe and welcoming environment where you can focus entirely on the arrival of your baby. During your labour, caring obstetricians, neonatologists, midwives, and anaesthetists will always be by your side.
Natural birth
Wherever possible, we encourage women to choose a natural birth, helping them prepare for the baby’s arrival, and teaching relaxation, optimal birthing positions, and breathing techniques. To help alleviate fear and stress, our specialists also provide expectant mothers with detailed information about each stage of the labour and birth process.
Birth with pain relief
Our clinic offers various pain relief options, including epidural or spinal anaesthesia, gas and air (Entonox) inhalation, or analgesics. The method of pain relief is tailored to each individual, taking into account the woman’s preferences and medical condition.
Caesarean section
Performed for personal or medical reasons (since 2024, this procedure can be chosen in Lithuania even in the absence of relative medical indications). Our specialists have many years of experience in ensuring maximum safety for both mother and newborn.
Postnatal care
Management of milk stasis (blocked milk ducts)
Specialised support for breastfeeding mothers experiencing blocked milk ducts. Professional treatment helps prevent complications and supports the continuation of breastfeeding
