This procedure can only be performed by a qualified vascular surgeon who examines the patient using duplex ultrasound and performs the laser procedure under ultrasound guidance. This is crucial, as traditional surgical stripping is performed without ultrasound guidance, which can lead to more complications, greater tissue trauma, and increased post-operative pain. During traditional surgery, the vein has to be physically removed, whereas laser treatment gently and safely seals the vein from the inside, meaning removal is unnecessary and surrounding tissues are not damaged. The patient recovers more quickly and experiences an immediate improvement in well-being after the surgery.

Varicose veins are treated using the latest-generation Biolitec ELVeS surgical laser with radial fibre technology. This is a highly advanced surgical treatment, after which the patient can return to their normal daily routine as early as the next day.

Injection sclerotherapy

This is a treatment method for varicose veins where the affected blood vessel is treated from the inside with medication. Recently, nearly half of patients in Western Europe and the USA have been treated with this method. Although this treatment takes longer, it avoids the need for laser or surgical operations.

Laser treatment is suitable for 90% of cases. Even in the most severe cases, where venous ulcers have opened on the legs, this treatment is highly effective.

For more information, call 8 5 234 2020

Our clinic’s experienced vascular surgeons provide consultations for patients with arterial, venous, and lymphatic system pathologies, treat vascular diseases, perform ultrasound scans of arteries as well as deep and superficial veins, advise on necessary preventive or treatment measures, and perform laser surgery as well as other procedures.

["post-6755","medicinos_centrai","type-medicinos_centrai","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry
